Challenge
Diving into the world of journalism was one of the great challenges of my life. I had no reporting or interviewing experience, but threw myself into an NBA locker room which ended up being the perfect vehicle to become the writer I am today.

Learning the delicate balance of telling the stories of others, developing the nuance of reporting, and cultivating my love and passion for writing has only strengthened my desire to keep growing within this field.

Process
Experience was my best teacher. In order to grow into the writer I had to become to tell the stories of NBA titans such as Nikola Jokic, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, and Kobe Bryant I immersed myself into the world of basketball entirely.

With more knowledge and experience, my writing and understanding of the words I have been using grew with my passion. Learning different tones for different stories and people was a joy and now, to further that skill, I have set my eyes on finding my next challenge.
